The bitter legal battle between Lauryn Goodman and Kyle Walker over their children has finally reached its dramatic conclusion. The reality TV star, 33, faced a ''humiliating' defeat in court against the Manchester City defender, with the judge criticising her for treating him like an "open-ended chequebook".
In response to the ruling, the England footballer, 34, released a strongly-worded statement where he described Lauryn, who he shares two children with, as having "insatiable greed".

The judge revealed that Lauryn attempted to manipulate financial increases by threatening to expose Kyle's paternity - as well as unsettling him by moving close to his family home with Annie, which left the footballer "horrified".
"The evidence before me has amply demonstrated that the mother was able to leverage these substantial increases by hinting that she would go public on the paternity issue and also threatening that if she did not get what she wanted she would select a home a stone's throw away from the father's family home in Cheshire rather than in Sussex, an idea which she knew horrified the father," stated the judge.
The text message to Kyle's wife Annie revealing he was the father
Lauryn "plainly had no intention of keeping the matter secret", the judge ruled, and eventually contacted Kyle's wife directly. "As well as making a significant number of obvious social media hints about the paternity, the mother decided to send a text message to the father's wife on 27th December 2023, at a time when she knew the father was playing football so would not be at home, saying: 'Hey its Lauryn I just wanted to quickly tell you that Kyle is the father of our daughter' This was intended to, and did, cause distress to the father's wife."
The four-word text message to the neighbour
The judge also said how Lauryn sent a "series of text communications" with Kyle's next door neighbour in Cheshire "in which the mother sought to persuade the neighbour to record conversations over the garden fence with a view to gain material to undermine the father's marriage."
The judge added: "When the mother texted the neighbour to say 'Ready to finish them', she had in mind causing irreparable damage to the father's marriage."
The financial demands of Lauryn revealed after daughter's birth
The claims included a £33,000 lump sum to install air conditioning in her Sussex residence, a new car worth £70,000 every four years, and a £31,200 astroturf football pitch for the garden, justified by her daughter's potential to become a Lioness.
The judge remarked: "I remind myself that Kinara has just turned one year old and is not yet walking...the mother surprisingly justified her demand for AstroTurf by saying that Kinara, by kicking a ball with her left foot from a crawling position, has shown a talent which may suggest a future career as a professional footballer qualified to become a 'Lioness'."

The judge criticised Lauryn for not having a "good track record of telling the truth" and described her as "often difficult, unreasonable and demanding."
He highlighted her "conviction for benefit fraud relating to misappropriate of £21,000" contrasting her with Kyle, who he found to be a "perfectly straightforward witness [who] gave his answers in an even and thoughtful tone."
The judge further remarked: "My assessment of the mother is that she was not reliable, often said what she thought would help her case rather than what was true, failed to make a calm and measured assessment of what she needed and often exaggerated her need to spend money (I think the father was correct to observe that the mother was in many ways treating him as an open-ended cheque book)."

Furthermore, the judge mentioned that Lauryn did "not appear to plan to move to any employed work but would wish to develop her life as 'a celebrity'". After accounting for her £81,000 debts, her net worth stood at just £10,000, whereas Kyle's net worth exceeded £26m.
This sum included nearly £5m in cash, £9.5m in investments, and £1.2m in watches and cars.
In a statement, Lauryn said: "These have been difficult and stressful proceedings, which I had hoped would not be necessary. This has only ever been about the children and providing for their futures. I am a dedicated single mother and whilst my children will never have what their half siblings have, I have tried my best for my children and always will, no matter what.
"Thanks to my legal team and the judge’s decision, my children’s childhood is secure and I will now focus on building a solid future for them so as to provide for the time when the children’s home reverts back to their father. More than anything, I look forward to enjoying every moment with my children and the three of us being able get on with our lives."
